How I can help

Support for what you’re going through

You may be struggling with difficult emotions, unhappiness in your relationships, or finding yourself caught in patterns that keep repeating.

Together, we’ll work to understand what’s troubling you, what’s keeping you stuck, and how to make positive changes happen.

Individual therapy

For adults who want to understand their emotions, work through difficult experiences, or change patterns that no longer serve them.

We can work together on:

  • Anxiety, worry, stress, burnout
  • Depression, low mood, loss of motivation
  • Trauma and its lasting effects
  • Attachment difficulties and recurring relationship problems
  • Self-criticism, self-esteem
  • Life transitions, purpose, personal growth

My approach to therapy

I combine empathy, curiosity, and evidence-based psychological approaches to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and find ways to move forward.

Together, we’ll explore how your experiences, emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and relationships contribute to the challenges you’re facing and shape the way you experience the world.

Through this process, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of yourself and develop realistic and meaningful goals. I’ll support and guide you as you take concrete steps toward achieving them. While change can be challenging, each step forward can build confidence and empower you to set even bigger and bolder goals for personal growth, healing, and more fulfilling relationships.

My work draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), Short Term Psychodynamic Therapy (STDP), and trauma-focused therapy. In couples therapy, I use Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method.

Experience matters

Therapy takes time, emotional energy, and financial resources.

You deserve care that takes your concerns seriously and helps you make observable changes in your life.

Years ago, I made a very intentional decision to leave my career as an engineer to pursue what I felt was my true calling: mental health care. This transition marked the beginning of a life-changing path that involved a decade of full-time university studies, research, and clinical training, followed by years of clinical practice and continuing education. My commitment to that calling has only gotten stronger since that initial decision.

Over time, I’ve come to appreciate just how phenomenal and complex the human mind is. Knowing what to focus on, when to intervene, and how to adapt treatment to each unique person takes experience, careful thought, and sound clinical judgment.

That’s what I bring to therapy: extensive clinical experience and training, an approach tailored to your unique life and needs, and a commitment to building a strong therapeutic relationship. Combined with your engagement in the process, these provide a solid foundation for meaningful change in therapy.

A better way of living is possible

You don’t need to know exactly what needs to change before reaching out. We can begin by talking about what has been difficult, what you hope might be different, and whether working together feels right.

Book an information call to discuss your situation, ask questions, and explore whether therapy may be a good fit for you.
