Trauma-informed therapy for anxiety, depression, and managing LIFE stresS
A first conversation to discuss your situation and explore whether therapy might help.

You don’t have to figure everything out alone.
When worry takes over
Sometimes, anxiety and stress can leave you feeling overwhelmed, constantly on edge, or unable to switch your mind off.
You may find yourself worrying, avoiding situations, or struggling to feel safe and settled.
When life feels heavy
Depression and other emotional difficulties can affect your motivation, relationships, sleep, self-esteem, and ability to enjoy life.
You may feel disconnected from yourself and others, or uncertain about how to move forward.
Therapy will give you a chance to understand these experiences, identify patterns that keep you stuck, and work toward changes that match your needs and goals.

A personalized, evidence-informed approach
Experience you can trust
With years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist and extensive training in hospitals and clinics, I’ve helped people find relief from a wide range of challenges, from everyday struggles to more difficult and overwhelming experiences.
I specialize in several research-supported therapy approaches to help my clients find a way forward.
Therapy that fits you
No two people experience anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties in quite the same way. Your experiences, relationships, life, and goals are unique, and your therapy should reflect that.I bring my knowledge and experience to understanding what you’re going through, then work with you to find an approach that fits your needs.
An approach that takes your whole experience into account.
01 / EVIDENCE-BASED
Grounded in research
I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches that have been tried and tested.
02 / PERSONALIZED
Centered on you
There is no one-size-fits-all treatment. Standard therapy methods are adapted to your individual needs, circumstances, preferences, and goals.
03 / WHOLE-PERSON CARE
Biopsychosocial
I won’t try to understand your “psychology” without also taking into account biology (illness, injury, sleep, hormones, medication, etc) as well as your social world. You are a whole person.
04 / CONTINUOUS GROWTH
Lifespan developmental
You don’t start existing the minute you come into my office. Even though we work with what you’re experiencing in the present moment, I also consider your life history and the broader process of your development over time.
Scientifically supported therapy models
Depending on your needs and goals, treatment may draw on one or more of the following approaches.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
- Motivational Interviewing
- Short-term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (STDP)
- Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Trauma Focused Therapy
- Narrative Therapy
- Existential Therapy
- Parent Management Training
- Family Systems Therapy
- Interpersonal Therapy
- Somatic / Body-centered Therapy
Fees and session options
Therapy can take different forms depending on your needs, goals, and circumstances. I offer individual therapy during the week and focused intensive sessions on select weekends. Here is an overview of the fees and what each format involves.
Individual therapy
$275 / 50 minutes
Individual sessions tailored to your concerns, goals, and pace. Longer sessions are available when appropriate, with fees prorated up to 75 minutes.
When: Weekdays
Format: Individual sessions
Weekend intensive therapy
$375 / hour
A focused format that allows more time to work on specific therapy goals within a shorter overall period. Sessions are scheduled in blocks of at least two hours, plus breaks as needed.
When: Weekends
Format: Extended, focused individual sessions
No additional fees beyond the session rates listed above.
Is intensive therapy right for you?
Intensive therapy offers more time to focus on a specific concern, explore difficult patterns, and practise new ways of responding. Rather than spreading sessions over many weeks, you can devote an extended period of time in a single day.
This format may be helpful for certain goals, including exposure-based work for anxiety or carefully paced, trauma-focused therapy. Its suitability depends on your needs, circumstances, and readiness for extended sessions.
Intensive work is not the best fit for everyone. Some concerns benefit more from a gradual approach, with time between sessions to reflect, practise new skills, and integrate what you are learning. We can discuss which format is most appropriate for your goals before deciding how to proceed.
Why are intensive sessions priced differently?
Weekend intensives require dedicated scheduling, extended clinical work, and flexibility outside regular weekday hours. The fee reflects these additional demands and the focused format. Whether an intensive offers the right kind of support for you is something we can explore together, and ultimately for you to decide on the added value it may offer you.
Thinking about starting therapy?
